Last updated: 23 October 2026

This notice explains what happens to the information you send through sandwich. Only share details you are comfortable using to arrange an interview. Do not include passwords, payment-card numbers, identity documents, sensitive medical details, or confidential information.

Who runs this service?

sandwich is an independent project. Questions about information collected through this site can be sent using the contact form below. sandwich is not affiliated with Reddit.

What information is collected?

For interview requests, we collect the name, email, interview criteria, timing, project details and budgets you provide. For people interested in interviews, we collect their name, email, general experience and country or time zone. We also collect information provided through the contact form. Netlify, our website and form provider, may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

What is it used for?

To read requests, consider whether someone is a suitable fit, respond to inquiries, and help arrange interviews when both sides want to proceed. We use the information you provide for these purposes and to manage your privacy requests. We do not sell submitted contact details or use them for unrelated marketing emails.

Who can see it?

Submitted forms are handled by Netlify and made available to the site's operator. We may discuss a person's relevant experience with the person arranging an interview, but we ask before passing along personal contact details. If you agree to take part in a study, the people involved may use their own video, scheduling or payment services, which have separate privacy practices.

How long is it kept?

We keep information while it is needed to respond to a request or arrange interviews. We review inactive submissions for deletion after approximately 90 days. Some records may be kept longer when an interview is still being arranged or when required by law. This review is performed by the operator rather than automatically.

Your choices

You can ask what information is held about you, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop contacting you, using the form below. We may need to confirm control of the email address before making a change. Requests are handled subject to applicable law.

Where information is processed

Our website and forms use Netlify. Information may be processed or stored in a country different from yours. Contact us before submitting if you need more information about how your details will be handled.

Interviews and payments

Sending a request or expressing interest is free. Fees for finding interviewees are discussed and agreed before work begins. Researchers arrange thank-you payments directly with interviewees; sandwich does not collect or hold those payments. This service is for adults aged 18 and over.
